Mureka / INFORMATION
Privacy and data handling
Mureka Download works without a user account. A lookup sends your submitted song link to this service so it can request the public song page and audio. Only submit public song links that you intend the service to process.
Song requests and temporary files
Song results are held in memory with a ten-minute expiry. Source downloads are streamed from the allowed media host through this service. For a conversion, the source is temporarily saved for processing and the converted output remains temporarily available for download.
Conversion jobs expire after ten minutes. Expired jobs and their temporary files are cleaned up periodically, so expiry should not be read as a promise of removal at an exact second. This service does not provide a personal cloud music library.
Your browser and network requests
The theme selection is stored in your browser’s localStorage. Browser settings can clear that preference. Downloaded files remain under your control on your device or in the storage location you choose.
The application uses the connecting IP address for request limits. Hosting, network services, and Cloudflare may process connection information independently of this application’s temporary song results. This page does not promise a retention period for their logs.
Contact and content reports
The report form stores your email address, submitted source URL, message, report identifier, site, and submission time for manual review. Reports are separate from the ten-minute song sessions; no automatic report-deletion period is stated here.
Include information needed to explain the issue and avoid passwords, account cookies, or unrelated personal details. Use Contact for a question about a report or this service’s data handling, and include the report reference when available.
StatInside visitor analytics
This website uses the StatInside visitor counter. Requests to StatInside include the visited page URL, referring page, visit identifiers, browser and device information such as language and screen size, and interaction information such as clicks, scrolling and time on the page. Network requests also disclose your IP address to the provider.
The counter sets the si_usr_id visitor cookie for up to one year, renewed on visits, and the si_ses_id session cookie for approximately fifteen minutes, refreshed while a page remains open. These analytics identifiers are separate from the downloader’s ten-minute result sessions.
Depending on the counter configuration, StatInside can also record page content and interaction sequences for session replay, and collect browser errors. Analytics processing is separate from temporary media processing and the contact reports described on this page.
