Mureka / FIELD NOTES
Download a public Mureka song
Use Mureka Download when you have a public song link and need a local audio copy. The process starts with one song page, checks what is available to visitors, and offers the source file plus supported conversions. You can listen before saving and keep any public lyrics beside the audio.
The important distinction is between a song you can open while signed in and a song another visitor can open. This tool uses public access. It cannot retrieve a private library entry, sign in to an account, or recover a deleted song.
Download your own work or content you have permission to save.
Start with the individual song page
The supported address begins with https://www.mureka.ai/song-detail/ or https://mureka.ai/song-detail/ and ends with the song’s letters-and-numbers identifier. A profile, playlist, search page, or copied title does not identify a supported song.
If sharing gives you a different kind of link, open it in your browser first. Navigate to the individual song and copy its final song-detail address. You do not need to find a raw audio URL or inspect the page. Opening the link in a private browser window is a useful way to check whether a sign-in is required.
Check the result before downloading
The preview is a check on the song, not a saved offline copy. Keep the original page URL in a project note so you can return to the correct version later.
- Paste the full song-detail link into the single-song form and submit it.
- Read the returned title and, when available, the creator name and duration. Use View original work if you need to compare versions.
- Play part of the preview. Check that it is the intended arrangement, especially when several versions share a title.
- Choose the source button for the published audio, or choose an available converted format for your editor.
- Wait for the browser to finish saving. Open the local file and check the end as well as the beginning.
What each result can contain
Buttons are determined by the song data. An absent lyric option is not an invitation to keep retrying for hidden lyrics. This downloader does not create lyrics, separate stems, or export the Mureka editing project.
| Result option | What you receive | Useful for |
|---|---|---|
| Source audio | The public audio file without re-encoding | Keeping the published version |
| WAV or M4A | A conversion from that same audio source | An editor or player that needs another format |
| Lyrics TXT | Publicly available lyric text | Reading and keeping song notes |
| Timed lyrics | LRC built from public lyric rows and their timing | A compatible player after a timing check |
When a download needs another attempt
If the song cannot be found, first check the original page and your copied address. If the source is unavailable to guests, use Mureka’s own authorized download options. Repeated requests cannot change the song’s visibility.
An expired result needs a fresh lookup of the original link. A busy conversion needs time for the current job to finish. A size or duration error means the source is outside this service’s 200 MB or ten-minute limits; switching from WAV to MP3 does not make an oversized source eligible.
For a persistent problem, send the song page URL, the format you chose, and the message you saw through Contact. Keep account passwords and private account information out of the report.
Questions about this guide
Will this download the original Mureka project?
No. It saves public audio and any available lyric exports. It does not transfer an editable Mureka project or separate instrument tracks.
Why can I listen in Mureka but not download here?
Your Mureka session may have access that a public visitor does not. A guest-access restriction, unavailable source, or changed public page can prevent this tool from retrieving the song.
Can I use the downloader on a phone?
Yes, through a browser. Save the completed file to a folder you can locate and check it in the phone’s file manager. The exact browser controls vary.
Does the source option re-encode the song?
No. The source option streams the published audio file. An option labelled as converted prepares a different format from that source.
